Artwork Submissions

Creative Origins is a Macintosh based shop, but files created on the PC in Adobe Illustrator 9 or Photoshop, and Macromedia Freehand are acceptable. We cannot process Quark Express files.

We do accept files created in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; however, these designs are limited only to single color designs because we have no way of separating the colors in multicolor design files created with MS software.

If you would like to browse a wide selection of clip art suitable for T-shirts, please visit www.clipart.com When you visit this site, and if you are looking for clipart designs in more than one color, it is best to search selecting only EPS files. (Please note that clipart.com is not affiliated with Creative Origins, so if you see an image that you really like, you will have to download it under their terms.)

We do accept jpeg, and tiff files; however, please note that the file must have a minimum of 250 dpi at the size that you want it on the shirt.

All text should be converted to outline format (text converted into vectorized format) before sending. This means that all text will not be dependent on us having the font you used. PC and Mac fonts are completely different, so non-outlined text from a PC file will be totally unacceptable. Even Mac fonts have differences, so it is always best to outline the text in your final artwork.

Please label your artwork with your name, placement, and colors. Wherever it is important to you, it is best to specify a PANTONE color in the layers in your artwork. If you do not do this, then we will do it for you.
